Divino in Vino has been a WSET approved programme provider since 2015, holding the WSET Level 1 and Level 2 Awards in Wine courses.
Silvia has recently joined Veraison, the training department of Berkmann Wine Cellars, which leads tailored wine training in the hospitality industry and provides WSET courses.
WSET Level 1 Award in Wine is a beginner level introduction to wine, suitable for those starting a wine career or pursuing an interest in wine.
Students explore the main types and styles of wine through sight, smell and taste while also gaining the basic skills to describe wines accurately and make food and wine pairings.
WSET Level 2 Award in Wines is a beginner to intermediate level qualification, suitable for industry professionals and wine enthusiasts seeking to build on the introductory knowledge gained at Level 1.
Students obtain a deeper understanding of the principal grape varieties of the world, the regions in which they are grown, and the styles of wine they produce. Through a combination of tasting and theory, they explore the factors that impact style and quality and learn how to describe these wines with confidence.
